After a successful career spanning nearly two decades, Mariko was ready for a new challenge. She transitioned her career as a corporate political affairs leader in Washington, D.C. for Fortune 500 companies and built her next career from the ground up. She founded COCO B. Productions, a strategic consulting firm that provides Leadership Coaching & Training, Enterprise Fundraising, and Event Innovation & Production Management.

As founder and president of COCO B. Productions, Mariko lives to empower others, from leadership development workshops and strategy sessions to curated lifestyle experiences and networking events. Mariko excels at delivering tailored solutions for the diverse needs of the corporate, government, associations, and nonprofit sectors.

Some of her clients include Walgreens, Viacom, Members of Congress, Mayors of Major Metropolitan Cities, Comcast Universal, Otsuka, and Charter Communications.

Driven by her, “Do More.  Do Better.  No Excuses” motto, Mariko is a highly respected community leader.  She currently serves on the Corporate Advisory Council for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Inc. where she supports programs that further the CBCF’s mission to advance the global black community by developing leaders, informing policy, and educating the public.  She is also a chartering member of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc. where she champions as the 1st Vice President of programs. She is a dedicated member of The Links Inc. where she serves as the Co-Chair of International Trends and Services and Chair of the Social Committee.

Mariko was born in California and raised in Maryland where she currently resides with her husband and three children.  When she is not curating an unforgettable experience, you can find her horseback riding, on the beach, or in her garden.
