Lashondra Love, MSW, LGSW, LMSW, serves as the Program Director for Cancer Support Community Washington, DC (CSC DC). In this role, she leads the development and delivery of comprehensive psychosocial support programs for individuals impacted by cancer across the DC metropolitan area. Her work includes program design, budgeting, staff and volunteer supervision, community outreach, partnership cultivation, board engagement, and facilitation of both educational programs and support groups. She also provides resource navigation, referral services, and community triage while supporting development efforts through grant exploration and networking.
Lashondra brings nearly a decade of experience in social services and five years as a licensed social worker. Her background spans foster care and adoption, housing and community programs, case management, mental health services, and therapeutic support. Prior to her graduate training, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Florida in 2015, followed by a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver in 2020.
Outside of her professional work, Lashondra is passionate about community empowerment and advocating for equitable access to support services. She enjoys connecting with others, exploring new experiences, and contributing to efforts that strengthen and uplift the communities she serves.
