Anissa W. Fields

Anissa W. Fields first joined Cancer Support Community in February 2020 as an intern for the Education Department. She later joined the department full-time as a Project Manager in August 2021 where she supports a number of Education’s programs and oversees project logistics. Anissa is originally from North Carolina and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology with a minor in Medical Anthropology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is passionate about health advocacy and community empowerment. These passions led her to pursue a Master of Public Health degree from The George Washington University, where she graduated in 2021.
