Heather Badt, MBA, LSS

Heather Badt joined Cancer Support Community in 2019. In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Heather oversees the organization’s administration and operations, digital and communications departments, and special projects.

Previously, Heather served as Executive Director of CSC’s Research and Training Institute (RTI). She received her bachelor's degree in marketing and human resources from Syracuse University and her Master of Business Administration from the Fox Business School at Temple University. She has expertise in areas such as process improvement, change management, and commercial operations.

Heather is a breast cancer survivor and her husband is an esophageal cancer survivor, whom she helped care for while managing her own cancer treatments. Through this experience, she discovered the unique support and depth of CSC's services. In 2017 Heather joined the Radiation Oncology Patient and Family Advisory Council at Penn Medicine as a volunteer. In 2018 she joined CSC's Research and Training Institute Leadership Board. Heather has two sons and lives in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband.
