Director, Market Research
Since 2012, Maria has been affiliated with the Cancer Support Community in many different positions. In her new role as Director of Market Research, Maria is responsible for managing mixed methodology research projects focused on health service delivery, patient preferences, and health outcomes. Maria’s interests also include racial health disparities in access to healthcare, public policy and advocacy, and health promotion among underserved populations. Her previous work experience involved directing community research projects with underserved communities, including the Hispanic and Black communities. Maria holds an M.S. in Economics from Arizona State University. In her free time, Maria enjoys sailing, camping, and bicycle touring with her husband.
