Courtney Yohe Savage, MPP

Senior Vice President, Policy and Advocacy

Courtney has served as Senior Vice President, Policy and Advocacy since November 2022. She has more than 20 years of experience in health policy, advocacy, and government relations. She previously served as Vice President, Government Relations, at The Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) where she oversaw their Government Relations operations for 11 years.

Courtney received her BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University and a Masters of Public Policy from George Mason University. With experience ranging from FDA approvals to insurance coverage decisions and authorizations, like lung cancer screenings with low-dose computed tomography, Yohe is familiar with the policies affecting the daily lives of those impacted by Cancer. She is passionate about ensuring that the health care system is set up to prioritize patient-centered care and patient and caregiver experience.
