CSC Receives 14 Honors at Fall Digital Health Awards
On November 20, the Digital Health Awards honored the Cancer Support Community with numerous awards for our digital media and online resources. Organized by the Health Information Resource Center, this awards program recognizes excellence in digital health resources, making CSC’s wins an acknowledgement of the outstanding work of our teams.
Overall, CSC took home 14 awards, surpassing the 10 it garnered in the spring edition of the Digital Health Awards. Seven of these awards were bestowed upon our Frankly Speaking About Cancer eBooks, which are accessible for free via our website.
Notably, CSC’s YouTube channel won a gold award. The channel—which hosts extensive playlists of videos with topics ranging from eating well with cancer to educational resources about living with cancer—features our new Ask Ruby series. The Ask Ruby series is an animated educational video series covering topics ranging from COVID-19 to financial toxicity.
Three awards were granted to our Spotlight on Coronavirus podcast series. This is exemplary of CSC’s commitment to providing timely resources for patients and their loved ones juggling a diagnosis during this ongoing pandemic.
