Maria Gonzalo is a bilingual public health and research operations leader with over a decade of experience managing complex research, education, and policy initiatives focused on cancer equity and access to care. She specializes in psychosocial research operations, program management, and data-driven strategy, with deep expertise in guiding projects from planning through execution in nonprofit and health system settings. Across her career, Maria has led cross-functional teams and implemented monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure high-quality, compliance, and impactful outcomes. Maria’s work centers on psychosocial cancer research, patient preferences, and health outcomes, with a strong emphasis on health disparities. She has directed dozens of qualitative and quantitative research initiatives annually, built multi-stakeholder partnerships, and translated research findings into actionable insights for diverse audiences. Her work is driven by a commitment to advancing equitable, community-centered public health solutions.
