"Thank you for all your help!" says Ashley L from Alabama. "I'm a single mom to 4 kids and this is my third time facing cancer. I have Ewings Sarcoma, and there is no specialist anywhere near us. Without programs like this, it wouldn't be possible. It's been a life saver."

Today, the Cancer Support Community and Airbnb are teaming up to connect people traveling for cancer treatment with free, temporary housing through Airbnb's Open Homes program.

We know that access to housing is one of the top needs facing patients and caregivers. These individuals often must pay for expensive places to stay in order to participate in clinical trials or receive medically necessary treatment far from home.

That’s why, as part of our partnership with Airbnb, we’re inviting people to volunteer to provide their home as a no-cost temporary accommodation for patients and caregivers who are traveling for treatment.

Join Open Homes Today

We hope you'll join this special group of hosts who offer medical travelers a short-term home. Open Homes hosts do more than just put a roof over people's heads. Their hospitality can make a major impact on different people's lives – such as Ashley L’s from Alabama, who benefited from a free stay at an Airbnb home:

We are grateful,

All of us on the Cancer Support Community Team
