Activity Overview

While the frontline healthcare worker teams have continued to struggle with increased pressures and needs for resilience boosts, their leaders have also been going through it. Leaders of caregivers carry the pressures of keeping their teams healthy, engaged, and fulfilled, but may be caught in an unending cycle of crisis management. This activity will focus on self-care tips for leaders and work-life integration to help us stay excited and do more than just “get through it."


Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe symptoms of crisis management as a leader.
  • Identify self-care actions a leader may take.
  • Apply practical strategies for workforce development.


Target Audience

This activity is designed for an audience of nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.


Criteria for Success

To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 70% or better on the post-test is required. Please proceed with the activity until you have successfully completed this program, answered all test questions, completed the post-test and evaluation, and have received a digital copy of your certificate.  You must participate in the entire activity to receive credit.
