Activity Overview
This activity discusses leadership skills, communication skills, ethics and professionalism, and interpersonal/communication skills. Additionally, as research shows burnout and other workplace challenges can lead to worse patient outcomes, this activity may support in providing safe and essential healthcare to patients.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the effects of burnout and compassion fatigue on oncology providers.
- Identify characteristics of a resilient workplace team.
- Apply strategies to beat burnout and build resilience as a team.
Target Audience
This activity is designed for an audience of nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Criteria for Success
To obtain a certificate of completion, a score of 70% or better on the post-test is required. Please proceed with the activity until you have successfully completed this program, answered all test questions, completed the post-test and evaluation, and have received a digital copy of your certificate.
