Throughout the fall, Cancer Support Community sites in Los Angeles, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Atlanta will be hosting free educational sessions that shine the light on myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). These events are designed to educate, support, and empower MPN patients and their families.

While each session is unique, general topics will include updates on:

  • Treatment and clinical trials
  • Managing side effects
  • How to live well with MPNs, including stress reduction, exercise, and nutrition

Cancer Support Community North Texas invites those impacted by an MPN diagnosis to join us for a virtual program, Shining the Light on MPNs. Minal Barve, MD, with Texas Oncology, will provide information about MPNs followed by a Q&A. Then, licensed dietician Ashley Mowbray will discuss the health benefits of an anti-inflammatory diet.
