Share your home with patients traveling for treatment

We’re teaming up with Airbnb’s Open Homes program to help provide urgent accommodations to people traveling for medical care.
We hope you’ll join this special group of hosts who offer medical travelers a short-term home. Open Homes hosts do more than just put a roof over people’s heads. Their hospitality can make a major impact on people’s lives.

We hope you'll join this community of generous hosts today.

Many people need to travel for medical reasons, and too often the cost of temporary accommodations can be a major barrier to accessing life-saving treatment or critical respite during recovery. Having free, short-term housing can help ease a patient’s financial concerns, while giving them the hope and energy they need to overcome illness.

"This program is a Godsend for me and my children. I cannot begin to tell you some of the burden this lifts. I’m a single mom of 4 kids and this is my 3rd time facing cancer. The first time I had cancer, there was a fundraiser that helped me travel. But those funds ran out, especially now with facing cancer again. I was unable to do my scans in a timely manner and my treatments were delayed because I couldn’t afford to travel to Florida. I have Ewings Sarcoma, and there is no specialist anywhere near us. Without programs like yours, it wouldn’t be possible. It’s been a life saver."

"Your support allowed me to participate in a Chroniclymphocytic leukemia (CLL) trial for High Risk CLL at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I live 800 miles away. I needed to stay in a very expensive area and there was no way I could afford it. I got a great Airbnb single bedroom apartment two blocks from the MD Anderson Cancer Center. This very important cancer research trial will hopefully be a total cure and the findings will have the potential save thousands of CLL patients in the future."
