Join Our Peer Mentor Community

Becoming a peer mentor is a meaningful way to turn your experience with cancer into support for someone who’s still finding their way.

As a peer mentor, you’ll offer understanding, encouragement, and personal experience to help others feel less alone as they explore cancer clinical trials

What You'll Do

As a peer mentor, you’ll get professional training to help you:

  • Share your personal journey with cancer and clinical trials
  • Provide helpful information and resources about clinical trials
  • Encourage others to ask questions, feel heard, and make choices that are right for them
  • Be a caring, supportive presence for someone during a difficult time

Who We're Looking For

To become a peer mentor, you must:

  • Be a cancer patient or survivor who’s taken part in a cancer clinical trial
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have access to a computer and the internet
  • Speak English

A great peer mentor is caring, open, and ready to listen. You don’t need to know all the answers — what matters most is being there, sharing your experience honestly, and offering support without judging.

My peer [mentor] helped me know where to look and how to ask questions about clinical trials. They helped me advocate for myself.
