Cancer Experience Registry Toolkit

Thank you for helping us spread the word.

Contact Us For More Information

We invite you to share the Cancer Experience Registry (CER) with your personal and professional networks to encourage others to participate to help CSC collect insights directly from patients, survivors, and caregivers on what improves the cancer experience, and about the unmet needs that persist. Discover more about the CER.

How to Use the CER Toolkit

Review the materials and choose the methods that best suit your organization.

You should use the promotional materials as they exist here to comply with our IRB standards. However, there are pre-approved cases for which you may tailor the promotional material language to better resonate with your community. Tailoring can include:

  1. Specifying cancer type (e.g., bladder cancer)
  2. Mentioning geographic location (e.g., Colorado)
  3. Identifying another community characteristic (e.g., LGBTQ)
  4. Identifying your organization as a partner of CSC (e.g., Organization is partnering with CSC to change the future of cancer support.)

You are permitted to make the changes above without approval from the CSC team, but please do not alter any other aspect of the messaging.

CER Unique URLs

Please be sure to include your “CER Unique URL” in all promotional activities. Any of the materials that have the General URL (www.cancersupportcommunity.org/registry) should be replaced with your Unique URL so we can track participants back to your recruitment efforts.

For materials with a QR code, you can navigate to any free QR code generator to make one for your Unique URL (e.g., QR Code Monkey).

If you do not remember your unique URL or would like to create one, contact us.

As always, thank you for your support of the CER. We could not do this without you.

Flyers

CSC’s CER Flyer is a resource intended for potential CER participants to learn more about the CER, how to participate, and have FAQs answered.

Option 1

Have you ever received a cancer diagnosis or helped a loved one with cancer? Share your voice by taking Cancer Support Community’s Cancer Experience Registry survey. By harnessing the power of patient and caregiver voices, our survey helps elevate the lived experience of cancer into actionable information that can inform all levels of decision making. You can join thousands of others in helping to influence healthcare policies, enhance cancer care, and improve support services. Learn more and take the survey here: [Please include your CER Unique URL here].

Option 2

The Cancer Experience Registry (CER) is an online research study that uncovers the broad impact of cancer through a 35-minute survey of patients and caregivers. The survey focuses on multiple aspects of cancer to understand its emotional, physical, practical, and financial impact, so we can identify and address gaps in care and support.

By gathering the important insights of those affected by cancer through the CER survey, we can create better outcomes for patients and caregivers today, and for future generations. Learn more and take the survey here: [Please include your CER Unique URL here]
