Yolande Goncalves MPH
Yolande Goncalves serves as a Project Manager in the Education Department, where she manages patient and caregiver education projects within the Frankly Speaking About Cancer program. She holds a Master of Public Health and brings over ten years of experience in health research, health education and communication, and community outreach.
Prior to joining CSC, Yolande was a Senior Research Coordinator at the University of Pennsylvania’s Center for Health Behavior Research, where she managed large-scale randomized controlled trials and qualitative studies focused on health behavior, health promotion, chronic disease prevention, and health equity. She previously worked at the Abramson Cancer Center, where she conducted epidemiologic analyses and supported community outreach and engagement efforts, developing educational programs and resources on cancer prevention, risk factors, health disparities, barriers to care, and chronic disease management for individuals living with cancer and their caregivers.
Yolande is dedicated to supporting and empowering people affected by cancer, including patients, survivors, and their loved ones.
She lives in St. Louis, MO, with her husband and dog. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, weightlifting, and learning new things.
