
Nancy Lomibao
Chief Clinical Officer and Program Director, Cancer Support Community South Bay
Nancy Lomibao, LMFT, is the Chief Clinical Officer and Program Director for Cancer Support Community South Bay. She has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) since 2000 and has extensive experience working with cancer patients and their families. Nancy has built a robust clinical trainee program tailored for MFT & LPCC trainees and associates to gain experience working within the cancer community. She has served on the Network Council and Program Task Force for CSC Headquarters, providing feedback for program enhancement.
Nancy earned a M.S. from California State University Dominguez Hills in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling, and is currently nearing completion of her dissertation for her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University with an emphasis in Mind-Body Health and Chronic Illness.
Nancy grew up in Redondo Beach, CA as one of 12 children and has lived in the South Bay her entire life. She was impacted by cancer at the age of 16 when her father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and lost him to the disease in her young adulthood. This personal journey has propelled her to be a champion for providing social and emotional support programs and reducing barriers for all individuals affected by cancer, alongside their families. Nancy is happily married, has 2 children, 5 dogs, and a small private practice.
