How do I register for MyLifeLine? |
|
Do I need to join a discussion forum and create a personal network site? | While you are welcome to do both, MyLifeLine.org does not require you to do either. You are free to join our discussion forum to reach out to others like you. You do not need to create a personal site to do that. Or if you just want to connect your personal network together to simplify your experience and receive emotional and logistical support from your loved ones, you can create a personal site. As well, you can change your mind in the future should your needs change as you move through your unique cancer experience. |
Is my information private? | All information provided to MyLifeLine.org is confidential. The data collected is to provide you with personalized information and resources to help you along your cancer journey. Your information is not used or sold. And demographic data is reviewed in aggregate to ensure the MyLifeLine application is adhering to our mission to ensure that no one — regardless of cancer diagnosis, race, gender, or physical location — faces cancer alone. |
Can I create a personal network site for someone else? | Yes, you can easily create a site for someone else. First, you will be prompted to fill out your loved one's name and email address. Once completed, you will set up your loved one's site as you would your own. If they want to log on at any point, they will simply use the same email address that you used in set-up and follow the instructions on the webpage or click on the link emailed to them. As they log in, they will be prompted with a customized message and registration form to complete with their own preferences. Upon completion of this custom registration, they will be directed back to the login screen. And after logging in, they will be taken directly to their MylifeLine Home page. |
