Cancer Support Community- CA Central Coast began in 2006 when community members set out to meet the urgent need in San Luis Obispo county to provide cancer patients and their families with hope, education, and support. CSC-CCC is committed to defining and implementing high quality cancer care and support. CSC-CCC’s community-based approach to providing social and emotional support is proven to empower participants to address their emotions and work towards an improved quality of life. All programs are based on peer-reviewed, evidence-based research. Programs and services include, weekly support group programs, individual counseling, art and mindfulness for stress reduction, exercise and Cancer Well Fit programs, educational seminars, children and family programs, and patient navigation and bilingual support.
