This year, an estimated 224,210 people will be diagnosed with lung cancer in the United States. 116,000 of these cases are estimated to be diagnosed in men, and 108,210 cases are estimated to affect women—making this the second most common cancer in both men and women and the leading cause of cancer-related death.

In honor of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, today’s show with guest host Linda House will focus on learning more about this diagnosis, treatment options and supportive resources.
