Jazmine Kirkland, MA
Jazmine Kirkland, MA is Manager, Research with the Cancer Support Community. Prior to joining Cancer Support Community, Jazmine studied infant and child development as it relates to psycho, social, and environmental influencers. Her research focuses have focused on social determinants of health, emphasizing minority and marginalized populations in research, and studying systems of disenfranchisement that shape health and disease. Her experience has encompassed quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies, systematic reviews and research synthesis, and program development and evaluation. She is well-versed in developing research and evaluation methods and statistical plans, creating and validating survey instruments, data management and analysis, and dissemination. She has substantial training in SPSS and R. Jazmine holds a B.S. in Health Sciences, B.A. in Sociology, and M.A. in Applied Social Research from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio.
