The devastation as a result of Hurricane Harvey and Irma is overwhelming and our thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected. In the aftermath of this catastrophe, Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT), Gilda's Club South Florida (GCSF), and with the national Cancer Support Community (CSC), including our Gilda’s Club affiliates, based in Washington, D.C., are committed to doing whatever we can for cancer patients and their loved ones who have been impacted.

In addition to the free services offered by CSCNT at three Texas locations in Dallas, Collin and Tarrant Counties and GCSF Fort Lauderdale location, CSC offers a free Cancer Support Helpline from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. EST at 1-800-793-9355 with nationwide referrals, free counseling from trained mental health professionals, and resources.

CSC is also partnering with MyLifeLine a platform where cancer patients can create a free, private website for friends and family anywhere in the world to keep friends and family informed.

We are reaching out to our community partners in order to support their efforts to meet the needs of evacuees.

CSCNT can be reached at CancerSupportTexas.org or 214-345-8230 and GCSF can be reached at GildasClubSouthFlorida.org or 954-763-6776.
