CSC Wins 8 Digital Health Awards
Patient-focused resources are recognized for their excellence
On June 4, the Cancer Support Community (CSC) brought home an impressive 8 awards from the Spring 2021 Digital Health Awards. The awards, hosted by Health Information Resource Center, honor excellence in digital health resources. Building on past wins, these honors are a testament to our team’s quest to produce the gold standard in patient resources.
Our Frankly Speaking About Cancer e-book series accounted for half of the awards. The winning resources covered biosimilar drugs, immunotherapy, and lung cancer. These resource guides offer in-depth and easy-to-understand information about living with cancer and treating this life-changing diagnosis.
CSC’s podcast, also named Frankly Speaking About Cancer, earned 3 awards. Notably, the episode “Spotlight on Coronavirus: Vaccines” — released soon after the FDA issued the first emergency use authorization for a vaccine — underscored our commitment to providing timely and relevant resources.
We are proud of the teams who worked diligently to provide superior educational resources to those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
