The Cancer Support Community aims to strengthen the link between medical and social and emotional health, to advance the innovations that are becoming the standard in complete cancer care.
The Cancer Support Community is poised to become a national leader in public policy, advocating on behalf of all those impacted by cancer, and aims to transform the landscape of social and emotional support for people who have been diagnosed with cancer and for their families and caregivers.
Our Public Policy and Advocacy initiative is one of the Cancer Support Community’s primary strategic priorities, and a critical means to advance our mission: to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
