Based on a national survey, which underscored the needs of allied health professionals in serving lung cancer patients, CSC designed an educational webinar to inform and empower health professionals to work more effectively with this cancer population.
The webinar
- highlights the psychosocial issues experienced by lung cancer patients and their effects on treatment planning and quality of life,
- offers insight into addressing the negative consequences of lung cancer stigma, and
- provides guidance for potential intervention and effective patient/provider communication.
