Working with Regulators: A Focus on FDA is an educational program of the Cancer Policy Institute at the Cancer Support Community that was launched on September 16, 2015 in partnership with Uniting a Community (UaC): Policy, Advocacy, Education and Action Network.

Attended by fellow advocates, leaders from the Food and Drug Administration, Avalere Health and Capitol Hill, this meeting provided attendees with practical information and resources to further engage with the FDA on issues important to people touched by cancer. This Tool Kit is intended as a practical guide for patient advocacy organizations in their efforts to educate themselves about the regulatory process, develop appropriate staff expertise and responsibility for this area, and ultimately make a difference. We hope that it contributes to opening the doors to patient engagement and productive interaction between your organization and the FDA.

Attended by fellow advocates, leaders from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Avalere Health, Capitol Hill, Goldman Sachs and Patton Boggs, this first meeting provided attendees with practical information and resources to further engage with CMS on issues important to people touched by cancer.
