Shortly after hosting our 2nd Annual Spring Celebration, we announced the release of CancerSupportSource, a first-of-its-kind mobile app offering emotional and social support to people impacted by cancer, anytime, anywhere. Our Research & Training Insitute has presented recent findings at conferences across the country and around the world - and our Frankly Speaking About Cancer radio show is at an all-time high in listenership, with new shows being produced each week.

CSC to Host National Cancer Summit in November
CSC will host a National Cancer Summit on Saturday, November 5th, to report on national progress made against recommendations of the 2007 Institute of Medicine Report (IOM), Cancer Care for the Whole Patient.

Philadelphia, PA - This festive Grand Opening and Barn Raising event will gather local luminaries and community partners, along with our dedicated supporters and friends, to help us "lift" the walls and celebrate the official opening of the Research & Training Institute - the first Institute in the United States dedicated to psychosocial, behavioral and survivorshop research and training in cancer.

Frankly Speaking About Cancer Radio Show Reaches New Heights

Tune in each Tuesday to CSC’s Frankly Speaking About Cancer radio show, a weekly internet radio broadcast inspiring audiences to live well with cancer. CSC President & CEO, Kim Thiboldeaux, hosts invited guest panelists in a weekly discussion on a range of topics benefitting people impacted by cancer. Frankly Speaking About Cancer airs on Tuesdays at 4pm EST/1pm PST.

Breast Cancer Survivor Finds Connections Through CSC
At the age of 40, Arleen was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She immediately felt alone; as though there was no one who understood her feelings and was overwhelmed with her treatment options. “There just weren’t as many pink ribbons back then" she says. "I was young and didn’t know about any resources or, really, of anyone who had been through this before.”

CSC Hosts 2nd Annual Spring Celebration in New York City
This spring, CSC hosted our 2nd Annual Spring Celebration in New York City. More than 300 supporters gathered to celebrate the many achievements of CSC and honor the partners and sponsors who make our work possible.

Annual Affiliate Leadership Conference Comes to DC

CSC will hold our annual Affiliate Leadership Conference this November 2nd-4th, 2011 in Washington, DC. The conference brings together leaders from more than 50 CSC affiliates to invoke learning, sharing and collaborating.

Your Jeans Make a Difference in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
CSC is joining forces with the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Lee Jeans as a proud community partner in support of Lee National Denim Day, taking place on Friday, October 7th, 2011. Now in its 16th year, Denim Day is a national initiative that has raised more than $83 million for breast cancer research and support programs.
