Finishing treatment can be a big relief. It can also be scary. What now? While you were getting treatment you may have felt that you were actively fighting the disease. But once it’s over, you might feel vulnerable or worried about recurrence (the cancer coming back).
The Cancer Support Community, in partnership with the Lance Armstrong Foundation, designed the Cancer Transitions: Moving Beyond Treatment program to help you understand and take charge of your life after treatment in a way that promotes long-term health. This section of the website offers specific steps you can take as a cancer survivor, to manage the quality of your health and gain a new sense of control over your life after treatment.
