LISTEN TO WEBINAR

CSC in partnership with the AIM at Melanoma, Melanoma Research Alliance, Melanoma Research Foundation, and Melanoma International Foundation hosted this interactive webinar, which discusses treatments that are bringing hope to people with advanced melanoma.

The newest approach to treating advanced or metastatic melanoma is called immunotherapy, which uses your body’s natural defense system to recognize and fight cancer. This webinar gives an overview of immunotherapy, discusses specific treatments that are available for melanoma, potential treatments that are coming in the future, possible side effects, as well as the psychosocial impact of a cancer diagnosis.

The program features the following speakers:

  • Dr. April K.S Salama, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Duke University School of Medicine
  • Grace Cherry, Nurse Practitioner at the University of California Los Angeles
  • Ellen Levine, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, Program Director at CSC Central New Jersey

This program is made possible with a charitable grant from Bristol-Myers Squibb.
