CSC released its Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Liver Cancer
booklet in December. This second edition includes comprehensive information on what liver cancer is, how it is diagnosed, treatment options, tips on how to partner with your health care team, and how to cope with the emotional and practical challenges people with cancer may face.
According to the American Cancer Society, nearly 28,720 new cases of liver cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year. The Frankly Speaking About Cancer: Liver Cancer book aims to equip those impacted by liver cancer with the most current information available to inform their cancer journey.
The book was developed by CSC in partnership with CanLiv, the Hepatobiliary Cancers Foundation, and was made possible by generous support from Onyx and Bayer. This book is part of a national education program that provides support and education to people affected by cancer and their loved ones.
